There&#8217;s a\u00a0<strong>Bounty<\/strong> tournament (with half the buyin going toward the bounty) and a\u00a0<strong>$300 entry High Roller<\/strong>, plus two\u00a0<strong>Survivor\u00a0<\/strong>tournaments to cap things off (it&#8217;s not explicit on the announcement, but a $145 entry Survivor will pay about $1,450 to 10% of the entries, depending on how the 10% is rounded). First place finishes in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pokerdb.thehendonmob.com\/event.php?a=r&amp;n=464935\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$500 (chop) and\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/pokerdb.thehendonmob.com\/event.php?a=r&amp;n=464934\">$300 events<\/a>\u00a0 for\u00a0<strong>Ed Pineda<\/strong>\u00a0(Puyallup) dwarfed his previous recorded cashes. Federal Way&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Patrick Ngo\u00a0<\/strong>cashed twice at the series\u2014his only recorded cashes so far\u2014making the <a href=\"http:\/\/pokerdb.thehendonmob.com\/event.php?a=r&amp;n=464935\">unofficial final table of the $500 event<\/a> and taking <a href=\"http:\/\/pokerdb.thehendonmob.com\/event.php?a=r&amp;n=464936\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first place in the Main Event<\/a>\u00a0. Not a bad record. And\u00a0<strong>Sarah Pong\u00a0<\/strong>from Portland took 5th place in the Main Event to drive her numbers way up,<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scott Clements\u00a0<\/strong>won first place in the <a href=\"http:\/\/pokerdb.thehendonmob.com\/event.php?a=r&amp;n=457709\">$600 $150K GTD Wynn<\/a> tournament last week, making him the week&#8217;s winner in overall dollars and for a single cash, with <strong>Kevin MacPhee\u00a0<\/strong>weighting the table heavily in the Northwest&#8217;s favor with a fourth-place finish.\u00a0<strong>Gennadiy Dvosis<\/strong> (Bellevue) was another player on the leader board who picked up some big bucks with a 3rd place in the Muckleshoot Main Event, along with <strong>Nicholas Halvorsen<\/strong> of Vaughn, Washington.\u00a0<strong>Dan \u201cGoofy\u201d Beecher<\/strong> made two final tables during the Muckleshoot series (with three cashes overall). And, of course, rounding out the big money, the aforementioned\u00a0<strong>Liz Tedder<\/strong> rounded out the top-scoring returning players.<\/p>\n<p>Side note: I mentioned last week that there was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mutantpoker.com\/?p=2173\">a ghost entry on Hendon Mob for\u00a0<strong>Joe Brandenburg<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(as \u201cJoe Bradenburg\u201d)<strong>;<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mutantpoker.com\/?p=2173\">\u00a0<\/a>those cashes were consolidated into the right entry and make Joe one of the bigger winners of the week by themselves!<\/p>\n<h2>This Week In Portland Poker<\/h2>\n<p>Nothing special this week, but see the\u00a0<strong>Portland Meadows Freezeout Series<\/strong> coming up a week from Thursday.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Only a Day Away<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebike.com\/play\/major_tournaments.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bicycle Casino\/Card Player Poker Tour V Big Poker Oktober<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0continues this weekend with a 2-entry day ($1100) $400K GTD.
