Congrats to <a href=\"http:\/\/pokerdb.thehendonmob.com\/player.php?a=r&amp;n=463707\" target=\"_blank\">Andrew Johnson<\/a>, who\u00a0takes first-place honors in consecutive Main Events at Chinook, and to <a href=\"http:\/\/pokerdb.thehendonmob.com\/player.php?a=r&amp;n=180493\" target=\"_blank\">Armand Alvarado<\/a>, who placed 3rd on Sunday, 5th in last fall&#8217;s ME, 6th in the ME last February, and 4th in the spring 2014 ME back when it was run as part of the\u00a0Deepstacks Poker Tour.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Is this supposed to be a selling point? The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.portlandmeadows.com\" target=\"_blank\">Portland Meadows<\/a>\u00a0horse racing facility, in North Portland near the Columbia between I5 and Hwy 99 will be\u00a0the venue, with 1,000 parking spaces (Brian <a href=\"https:\/\/scontent.fsnc1-1.fna.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-xtl1\/v\/t1.0-9\/12795564_1152420291434800_1562686631818653822_n.jpg?oh=d77b2687abcf59c929d5f89a06be0db2&amp;oe=5755689F\" target=\"_blank\">included a photo<\/a>) and relatively easy access from bus and MAX lines (a little bit of a walk from the Vanport\/Delta Park Yellow line stop through some ugly intersections, but doable). what I call \u201cThe Devil&#8217;s Game.\u201d Joe Brandenberg and Brian Pygon were among the NW\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsop.com\/tournaments\/updates.asp?rr=5&amp;grid=1193&amp;tid=14667&amp;dayof=\" target=\"_blank\">players making it to Day 2<\/a> with Pygon going out in 10th place and Brandenberg taking 8th after one of those bad Big O beats. There is a maximum of 64 seats, but players can pre-purchase up to three\u00a0seats, with discounts for the extra seats: $350 for two seats and $500 for three seats.\u00a0The event <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fullhousepoker.org\/#\/category\/active-promotions\" target=\"_blank\">isn&#8217;t on their web site<\/a>, so far as I can tell, and it does not specifically say &#8220;guarantee&#8221; on the info I&#8217;ve seen, but 64 seats sold even at the maximum discount comes to more than $10K. No indication whether it&#8217;s winner-take-all or what the payout structure might be, but contact them for info.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deal of the Day: WSOP Circuit at The Bike<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Technically, this is the combined <a href=\"http:\/\/thebike.com\/play\/major_tournament_wsop_circuit_event_2016\" target=\"_blank\">Winnin&#8217; o&#8217; the Green and a WSOP Circuit<\/a> stop, the last one on the West Coast before the summer.
